Cost of patches is fluid and can increase!
Notes:
  • The SCRC Winged Patch(s) can only be procured via the "National Web-Site, Online store"! (one of two available back patchas are required for all Officers!)

  • The Road Captain, and Safety Captain Patches will be given only to those Members that have completed a Chapter Riding Guidlines and Safety Briefing or otherwise show relevant experience!

  • There is a placement diagram for SCRC patches. I found it on Rickster's original web-site. While not very clear it is clear enough to be serve as an official patch placement guide! The example below is of my vest and the placement of individual patches.
I had the patches sized to make vertical alignment a bit easier to accomplish.

Chapter 702 Pop Up Ride
Date: Saturday, September 6th 2025
Dest: The Bears Den
, Eustis, Fl
Six Bikes with eight people met at our Racetrac station. Today's weather forecast had us dry one minute and very very wet the next!
What the heh, seven people opted to chance the
rain. The Road Captain decided to alter the destination due to the fact that the forecast did not look promising to the south and west along our planned route to the Bears Den in Eustis!
The RC with
the concurrence of those remaining members chose to try for The Idle Awhile Resort (Porky's) in Georgetown. The tri
there was beautiful, under clear skies.
Unfortunately when we got to our destination we were informed that the restaurant was closed until Monday due to some undisclosed maintenance issues! I surmise that is why when I called the day before there was no answer.
As of now we were kinda not doing very well, but still the weather was clear and reasonably cool!
Our next choice was Shrimps R Us, in Welaka. When we got there (at 10:10 AM) we would have to wait for them to open at 11:00 AM.
We chose instead to go to Corky Bells, East Palatka. Two members opted to go to the 207 Diner instead! Five remaining members finally had some success!!!!
As usual Corky Bells was a good choice.
Now the fun part! No rain for this entire adventure, right. On the way home (
we opted to run 17 to 100 E to Bunnell) the sky opened up as we exited the Corky Bells parking lot and did not stop until we were on SR100 in San Mateo heading East! Yeah us! LOL it goes with life!
We were dry by the time we got home, only in Florida! One thing is certain this was one interesting day!!!! I would still not exchange
it as we were with our SCRC Family! All got home safely.

CHAPTER 702 SCHEDULED RIDE
Multichapter Meetup
Saturday, September 20th 2025
Dest Was:
Baci Pizzeria, 830 N.Dixie Hwy,New Smyrna Beach 32168

What a turn out today, to Baci Pizzieria in New Symrna. It started out as a simple email to Dan Dow asking if 739 and 702 could get together. It turned into a 50 plus member ride with multiple chapters meeting up: 739, 242, 122, 694, 545. Dan lead the group safely to the resturant (using his version of a GPS a Graphic Papers Scribbled). The food was exceptional and the service was fast, but definitely the brotherhood and sisterhood of SCRC outshines it all! We will see you on the next one, RIDE ON!
