Chapter 702 Long Haul Ride Six Days Five Nights Camping Trip

Notes:	Camping: The campground offers beautiful campsites by Canada Creek or near the wooded areas backing up to the National Forest. There are charcoal grills, picnic tables, and fire rings throughout the campground. The Bathhouse is newly constructed clean and spacious, heated with separate facilities for men and women. Both offer a private dressing area and hot showers. Additional outlets provide for use of hairdryers and charging electronics. There is no electrical provided in the campsites! Camping is self serve *Rate(s) for Camping: $20.00/night for 2 people per tent. $8.00/person for each additional camper per night. Please call with any questions: Reservations are not required for tent camping.* If you arrive during hours when the lodge is closed, please use the sign-in forms in the box on the front porch. Firewood is available for purchase. Cabins: There are 8 cabins. Each cabin has two twin beds, electricity, heater, and ceiling fan; linens/towels are included. Cabins are located just a short walk to the bathhouse and lodge. No smoking is allowed in cabins.2-Night Minimum on weekends is strictly enforced. When booking please ensure you have selected two nights. Rates:: The cabin rental rate is $70.00 per night (reservations required in advance) Plus Tax on all Rates: 7% GA State sales tax and 5% Union County lodging tax (12% Total). Please review our cancellation policy (on website) when making a reservation About The Lodge:* Lodge has AC/heat and three large bedrooms with a shared bathroom for lodge guests only. The common areas include a large kitchen, dining area and seating area with a TV. All linens/towels are provided for guests. 2-Night Minimum on weekends. Lodge Rooms are available all year round for those that wish to ride in the off-season. Rates: The lodge has a base rate of $80.00 per night, per room. Please note, 7% GA State sales tax and 5% Union County lodging tax (Total of 12%) are added to the booking total at checkout. We require payment for 1-night when making a booking, additional nights will be paid at check-in No smoking is allowed in the lodge!. Please review our CANCELLATION POLICY* when making a reservation.

This is a three state ride (GA, NC, TN)! Monday, June 24^th 2024 Ride #5: Dest: Bryson City, NC Map: https://goo.gl/maps/rQ8YWFPWUWsPsFMv9 Ride Duration is 5 hrs 15 min 221 mi round trip to Bryson City, NC (not including time in Bryson City, NC, rest-stops, food or fuel). Any Member may suggest a ride.

Restaurants need not be the focal point of any ride, Museums, Parks, Central Florida Events, Join in Poker Runs for other Organizations, etc. are acceptable destinations. Remember, the trip there and back is were the fun is, the destination is but the turnaround!

NOTE:
Scheduled Chapter Rides take priority over any other rides! This includes rides with other Chapters/group If a member is always riding with another chapter and not their own chapter they can be transfered to the chapter they ride with! It is a logical and reasonable assumption that each Member support the Chapter he/she is a Member of!
